  • Similar here in the UK. Its like, yeah, even if the model you’re proposing was better (it isnt), you can tell for a fact that its for the benefit of the wealthy and at the expense of the 99%, simply by whos saying it.

I mean, its like taking parental advice from a convicted paedophile. In the same way, why would anyone take advice on socialised medicine from someone you know is trying to fuck your socialised healthcare system.

  • Would you still feel that way, about the very first part, if I was to remind you that some of the Russian oligarchs were crime bosses who took power and wealth by force?

Admittedly, it doesn’t have the hereditary rule part but that, for me, would simple fall under “the difference is the passage of time.” I see it much like the difference between a cult and a religion.

  • As a British person, I had a few awkward conversations with other British people when I’ve asked them to explain the difference between a royal or a higher level aristocrat and an oligarch.

It seems to be something to do with the length of time society had to endure their bastardry. Well, it’s either that or that they’re not from the Oligar region of Russia. Its one of the two.

  • Hard agree. They gutted the electoral commission while gerrymandering like crazy. They have an army of right wing boomers brow beating anyone they come across into the ground with their “the two parties are identical in every single way” BS (all claiming to be left wingers while doing so, of course). If labour had been betting on things, using insider knowledge, there would be arrests already. The Met police went to the most secure and videoed place in the country (10 downing street) and lied, telling the whole nation that there was no evidence of the parties they were having during lockdown. Etc etc etc.

The very wealthy people and powerful people they represent won’t go quietly, if at all, and they have no morals.

  • Not your fault of course but it was always a stupid name. It isn’t arrested or inhibited, during a stage of development, resulting in an underdeveloped outcome (retarded). Like a fire retardant door stops the fire developing, as it would usually on doors. In the case of this drug, the release is inhibited, as its, presumably, a pro-drug.

They could have called it “long lasting”, “pro-drug”, “pro”, “inhib” or “slow release” and these would have all been accurate descriptions. However, retarded isn’t accurate. They chose it anyway though.

  • You did claim to have voted left all before this. If not labour, who was it?

The idea that “the left” want immigration is a right wing trope, full of racism. They just presume they want more as “immigrants vote left” which is statically untrue. Its a mix, as we import conservative types too.

So, with that in mind, who actaully benefits from mass immigration? Its not labour or the people they represent. So, who is it that benefits from mass lowering of wages and increased housing prices due to the manufactured housing crisis?

Well, anyone should be able to figure out that it’s the wealthy and their business interests who benefit and they’re represented by the right. Always have been.

    I don’t think we will

Being able to work less and not having to toil all day for someone else’s gain is a left wing idea. Theres no world where the right get in and we work less. In fact, everything they do is to make non-rich people work more, for less.

I care about the people who live here and not symbols or fake, fairytale history that gets weaponised and used to make people vote against their own self interest. I care to save our NHS from the very same corporate interests you want to vote for. But you’d be happy to lose even more of your life to work and our NHS, if the right wing (who benefit the most and have presided over the most immigration ever) end immigration which would be impossible and they would never do anyway.

I mean, what am I supposed to say to that?
