Have you considered a wiki instead? I use OtterWiki and I like it a lot. It has version control using Git too.
There are several dozen different wiki softwares out there, you can compare their features using this site.

UNIX-like operating systems that utilize kernels other than Linux exist. FreeBSD, Plan9, etc. Not to mention that the Linux kernel isn’t developed by a single person or even a single organization. Mozilla’s governance structure is totally different.
Can you explain your opinion of the differences? A friend and I are interested in learning more about Discord alternatives that we can get our less tech-savvy friends to switch to.
You may want to consider in your made-up scenario the reason behind an entire neighbourhood refusing to give any information.
So you’re advocating for fewer civil rights (or at least for people not to exercise their civil rights) because it saves you time and money? Spoken like a true pig.
The Canadian Future Party (CFP; French: Parti avenir canadien, PAC) is a minor federal political party in Canada that was officially launched in 2024. It describes itself as being politically centrist, campaigning on a fiscally conservative and socially liberal platform.
That made me audibly groan, along with this:
- Allowing the private sector to take a larger role in society with government oversight
- Simplifying the tax code to close loopholes in cooperation with the provinces and territories
- Ending corporate subsidies and supply management where a return on investment cannot be delivered
I’m happy to be proven wrong, but this seems like a recipe for laissez-faire capitalism that will eventually end in a collective shrug, a few golden parachutes, and a recession. Canada does not need more centrism.
“Special goon cave” sounds like a vagina euphemism.
They’re okay, but they mostly taste like Vanilla Coke with a faint whisper of artificial chocolate flavour (think Tootsie Rolls). I really don’t recommend it unless you want to try a novelty flavour for fun.
Hawaii isn’t its own country, it’s a US state (and not a territory like Puerto Rico, for example), so it’s been integrated into the American empire and independence isn’t likely. I don’t know if it could survive as an independent nation or if residents want to try though.
If I had to guess, this is a service manual for approved third party repair shops that they’ve simply released to the public. So it likely wouldn’t contain any proprietary information that wasn’t explicitly necessary for the physical repair of the device.
Maybe you could read the article and learn something:
But the tiny electronic devices remain a vital means of communication in some areas - such as health care and emergency services, thanks to their durability and long battery life.
“It’s the cheapest and most efficient way to communicate to a large number of people about messages that don’t need responses,” said a senior surgeon at a major U.K. hospital, adding that pagers are commonly used by doctors and nurses across the country’s National Health Service (NHS). “It’s used to tell people where to go, when, and what for.”
Smartphones do a lot of things that might not be needed (look into how many different sensors they have). Sometimes a person doesn’t have access to a charger or time to charge a device and running out of battery could mean someone dies.

I’m not totally sure of the wisdom involved in gating content when ActivityPub and the Fediverse are still so new and niche.
If you’re putting out premium content that doesn’t affect the existing communities, whatever, I don’t care. But I do have to wonder how you’re actually going to make money when most users are used to free content.
Wouldn’t it be easier to use Ko-fi or similar?
You can install Synaptic in Debian. Problem solved? I love the terminal so this isn’t really my fight but you could spend some time to make Debian GUI-based if you wanted to.
Also LMDE exists, which Mint-ifies Debian and gives you a GUI option for basically everything you can imagine.
You say that like I’m unaware - maybe I should needlessly remind you that most of these fines are generally in the millions of dollars. A step in the right direction is not a bad thing.
Regardless, I’m not sure shareholders will think of it that way if the anti-trust practices continue and the fines accrue. The EU likes to be punitive when their orders are ignored.
I’m glad that corporations are actually receiving fines that are commensurate with their earnings and scale. Hopefully it’s enough to get them to not do this shit.
Try to avoid making an account on one of the main instances (fedia.io, kbin.earth, etc.). List of Mbin instances: ~~https://fedidb.org/software/mbin~~ https://joinmbin.org/servers
Yeah! It lets me focus on content instead of building the actual site so I thought I would suggest it given OP’s use case.
Also the CSS can be modified with a separate file that overrides the default, so it’s pretty customizable without touching the actual config files at all.
