It’s not the heat that dewrinkles clothes. It’s humidity. Try it in a room full of steam.
Web Developer by day, and aspiring Swift developer at night.
It’s not the heat that dewrinkles clothes. It’s humidity. Try it in a room full of steam.
Two options for dealing with wrinkles:
There is a third option: wear wrinkly clothes and dgaf.
I can certainly relate. I do not have the traditional sense of what is beauty and what is not. I tend to also gravitate toward more natural beauty; i.e., little-to-no make-up, natural breast (even if they are small), normal fitting clothing, those damn filters on photos.
Not only is it a double standard (how would society look upon men who stuffed their pants), it doesn’t help with my inability to easily distinguish who you are out of a crowd of other people.
Yes, to be fair I was over generalizing. Of course I can remember specific details like hair color, skin tone, etc. Voices and height are little iffy if they are in close proximity of each other. But general attitude of a person is a pretty big indicator as well.
To be fair, as a real-life comparison, I wouldn’t be able to recognize most celebrities because they look so wildly different out of make-up. I suspect I have partial face blindness.
Suicide is not a joke, Jim!
Thank you. I had no idea. I will make an update that has the same content but in Markdown format and I’ll stop linking to that article in the future.
Edit: Correct word
If you’re considering ending it all, make one phone call. You’ve got nothing to lose.
At this point, I’m surprised anybody (including myself) still buys/uses Google services, given how risky it is that you’ll become dependent on them and then they kill off the product(s). I really need to get off my ass and switch mail providers.
It is my #2 priority as a dad that I impart upon them that they not rush into being an adult.
To give your partner something to clean up afterward?
Just kidding. That’s borderline misogynistic. It’s so you can easily roll over and fall asleep after the intense 30-second marathon you just “ran”.
So your partner can rest safely from having to tell you they have a headache tonight.
This would make a great business model. I would sign up.
It’s tricky for sure. For my kids, I try to take any and all wins (no matter the size) and emphasize how it took hard work and practice for them to succeed. I also remind them that even in failure they can learn something for next time. Hopefully it’ll set the right attitude for them. Good luck!
I’m confused. So Macron’s party was democratically voted out by the people? So instead of accepting defeat like any rational person/party would, he decided to call a mulligan and do it all over again? What’s he going to do if they lose a second time?
As an American, I feel like this is somewhat familiar, and would have negative consequences.
Edit: I will admit, I am not as savvy with foreign politics. I jumped the gun, and made an incorrect assumption based on my emotions. For that, I apologize. I do want to thank k those who took the time to explain it to me; I have learned something today, and it’s appreciated.
How much of that is third-party libraries, and/or third-party hosted? Obviously the assets (images and music) aren’t being counted.
There’s also the argument that “if we don’t do it, somebody else would,” and I kind of understand that, while I also disagree with it.
They will inevitably learn it in their own from school and friends. My 9 year old is big into deez nuts, and my 11 year old just started with that’s what she said. Sigh. I’m not surprised, as both were my goto shticks in my pre-parenting years.
You gotta own it. Roll with it. Learn their language – rizz; bussin’; Tuesday, Tuesday, What’s up brother? – and use it against them.
Stay strong! You got this, bruh.
Office politics sure do suck.
