The infra is still a bit lacking but when I visited I found the drivers to be surprisingly decent with bikes & peds.

Personally, I prefer a quiet neighborhood over faster delivery.

I could imagine an autonomous, on-demand rural train service. Due to the low expected traffic, it seems like you could just build some additional sidings and use a more conventional design.
That’s just the price we have to pay for this wonderful capitalist system. Worth it!

I share a couple cars with a few hundred neighbours. Saves a bunch of parking spaces.

Only managed to travel to Japan once but really loved walking around. Metros and trains were quite approachable even without a smartphone.
