So continue to root for Linux? You got it! Go Steam Deck ;D.

Do you mean the two residents who were in their healthy prime? Article made it sound like every house on the block was not a fan of this. Likely (given the people they did interview) it is because these are all older folks with no other means to travel.
Fuck old people though right?
So did you finish reading the article then or just black out right there? These are 70 year old residents who can’t physically move all that great.
I’m all for adding more bike lanes, but let’s not hurt a different group of people in the process. Maybe they should have implemented bus routes and other public transportation before ripping out the roads for cyclists.
“Dumbasses and assumptions” and all that goes both ways.
And vote for Genocidal Convicted Felon Trump?
Right on! As long as it works thats all that matters. I’m just happy that handhelds and Linux derivatives are finally getting the light they deserve.
Aren’t steam deck 64gb versions currently cheaper than that? Hell, i could easily sell my OG steam deck for 300$, but was only asking for 200.
How well does it actually run games? Isn’t the ROG still for all intents and purposes, on Windows?
And yet somehow, they end up paying less for health care than Americans do…
Don’t farmers specifically not form bonds with the animals they intend to slaughter? Isn’t it socially acceptable to eat dogs and cats in some countries? Personally, raising your own meat and slaughtering it for consumption does indeed sound like the best way to go about it.
So is the Internet Archive a library, or a preservation place? I feel like you’re advocating for them to be both, which isn’t how the law views them.
Edit: I for one would prefer they not waste money on a losing battle, and stick to preserving things. Id hate to see them lose on trying to be a library, and then all of their efforts wasted.
I’ll admit that I do like that they’re trying to scurt the law by doing what you’ve said, but it clearly isn’t enough.
Does IA have the right to lend and rent stuff? I believe that is the true issue here. At the moment they aren’t doing anything different then say what a piracy website would do. The right way would by making said links expire, not allowing infinite copies, and an actual “lending” system would do them more good then harm.
I think its an incredibly fair view point. If IA loses, and the way back machine goes down, because they keep losing these lawsuits, then it has absolutely affected this person.
To be quite honest, I even agree. The IA should be for preservation, not for piracy. Right now they’re boarding that line of piracy, and tbh, I disagree with that as well. Id rather go to a pirate website to pirate my books, and go to the IA to see what has been preserved.
Better than 3 maybe, but doesn’t even hold a candle to New Vegas. Hell, id argue 3 with NV’s engine is leagues better.
You don’t building, no you build a building.
Yeah if I had to guess a lot of components need to be assembled/put together in a clean room. Then to keep everything “clean”, mine as well just assemble it all in one place, which isn’t likely doable on site.
An yet its common enough that people are able to figure out what is meant.
You can look for display boards, they’re specifically meant for like retail space so don’t come with all the fancy bullshit. Typically cheaper, and you can go pretty large as well.
Do you mean winner? I believe in the states it also loser pays.
I simply don’t, and wouldn’t trust Apple. They will tell you they are all about privacy, and happily sell your data behind your back. Just like any other company.
Yes, on street parking was removed. Effectively removing the shoulder for a Bike Lane. It doesn’t sound like they offered any solution for the old folks who can’t simply bike or walk to the grocery store.
They should have added more public transportation before ripping up the streets.
It even says in the article that they are in a public transportation desert, so this solution is hardly even a bandaid.
