Both my brother in laws have huge modified trucks, both live in cities, both complain that the road infrastructure and parking doesn’t cater to their large vehicles… Also both have (probably) never used the truck bed.
They are so huge, tons of room in the cab. Feels like driving in a living room. Have to ride over curbs to get out of parking lots though

Legal where I live and it’s fantastic. Love being first in line at every intersection and not having to worry about getting ran over.
Buuut… there is a fair number of drivers who like to yell at me to not cut in line… had one person drive on the sidewalk and around me onto the crosswalk and said “if you can cut, so can I.” Super scary.
I usually just say, “it’s legal, learn to drive” but the “learn to drive” part makes a certain kind of driver so mad that it’s not worth risking the road rage
I pedal bike to work and have close calls weekly with cars. Couple months ago I was in the bike path and a car came next to me and matched my speed and then came into the bike lane and drove me into the grass. I thought they were doing it on purpose but they were just confused following their GPS and drifted… Similar stories on my motorcycle. Lane splitting is legal where I live but people still yell at me saying I can’t “cut in line” and I had one lady drive on the sidewalk and around me onto the crosswalk (at a red light) saying “if you can cut then so can I.” It was kinda terrifying.
Where I live, everyone drives and everyone hates driving and hates other drivers, but they hate bikes and motorcycles more because out grouping or something. Only way to stay alive is to pretend you’re invisible and not piss car drivers off.

I don’t mean to assume anything. I do feel like the plow company should ask the mall “where should we pile the snow?” Though. And the answer shouldn’t be “into the parks”
The park (and trail) isn’t owned by the mall, if they pushed snow into your backyard you might have a problem. I don’t think “snow has to go somewhere” is a good enough excuse to abuse a public space
Never has there been a company that I wanted to love so badly, but hate. I even proxy my pauper commander decks these days. In the magic world, so many bad decisions. 30 year anniversary cost $1k for non-legal cards. Power creep and complexity creep are frustrating. Huge inflation. Bad story. Bad quality cards. It could all be so much better, but they focus only on short term profit instead of the player experience

Nice, I just did some research and what I did was add a new “gear” for my bike and set that to automatically be added to cycle activities. I ordered the Garmin Speed Sensor 2, it doesn’t need a bike computer, just syncs to your phone. Then I just have to remember this summer when I mountain bike to manually change the gear for each activity to my other bike. Wish you could specify gear for each activity type instead of each general type
I’m trying to find a good odometer for my next bike. I don’t want to track rides as workouts, but I wanna prove that I bike more than I drive. Garmin makes one that I’m looking at that goes on your wheel hub and can be intermittently synced to a phone
Don’t preorder, and only buy early access if you’re happy with the game as it is at the moment you buy it
My wife and I have wondered about this idea. If we were to have kids, we’d want them to be tech savy and inventive, but hopefully not get too addicted to the internet at a young age. There’s something to be said about not buying them a computer, but letting them build one, I think. But it’s an odd line to walk.
Definitely will say I was interested in what I couldn’t have, but I do think there are healthier ways to fuel an interest. Hope that someday my kids will just want to tinker with my stuff
