I never leave home without it. I don’t know how the rest of you manage.

K-k-k-kent! It’s c-c-c-coming to k-k-k-kill you!
This guy fucks
I’m with you guys. Model railroading rules.
Sure, we were just finishing FDR’s presidency, where pro worker policies and the war effort helped simulate an economy back to strength. Tax on the wealthy rose to 94% by 1944, allowing a couple solid decades of lower/middle class growth.
Then, in the 70’s until now, all of that has steadily come undone as the majority of Americans now struggle to get by. The ultra wealthy scoot on by, paying 15% (if that) and because most of the country struggles to earn a decent wage, taxes aren’t paying for upkeep of our infrastructures and our schools are funded less and less.
I don’t count this as an enlightened time. I view us living in modern dark ages of feudal lords (ultra rich) and the rest of us serfs.
I guess it depends on the lense. Accepting various sexually? Sure. Our politics and the general state of things? I wouldn’t describe us that way.
Not sure I’d really call this an “enlightened time.”
Another good decision by Intel execs. /s
See? AI creates jobs! Granted, it’s specialized mop up situations, but jobs!
It’ll be even more interesting in the future! Every now and then a T1000 will lose all hydraulic fluids right out it’s prosthetic anus and they’ll need someone there with a mop and bucket! Our economy lives on…
Maybe less glare from reflection of sunlight?
So inventive these guys. If only we could harness that ingenuity for the common good instead, it would have a huge impact.
Oh man, I was thinking this was some historical piece on a cult I hadn’t heard of, but this is happening right now! It’s very sad that people can be so far gone and commit horrendous deeds.
Don’t worry, the dream lives on!
VancesCouchSloppySeconds.com is still available!!!
I can understand how the guidance systems being still controlled by NATO satellites/support mechanisms would be considered a different level for them, but is it just more sabre rattling? That’s the question.
I’ll give it a shot. Seems interesting to have something USB powered that can solder.
While I understand some of the hate in the thread, I appreciate someone creating something for us old timers. Working within the constraints of a system and making things work was a real satisfying experience.
Yea, that would be pretty damning overall and they should lead with that instead of some jabberwocky about bandwidth.
Ah, didn’t know that
Got the slow cooker rolling. Thanks for the reminder, pope.
