It’s just different scammers now.

Every day, my work computers force a shutdown-update, take 20 minites, fail the update, recover from the failed update, and then force a 24-hour timer to do it again that I can’t turn off. IT doesn’t care.
I got grandfathered into YouTube Music since I was using Google Music when it got shut down. While not as good as Google Music, YT Music works well for me and has been building playlists suited to what I want to listen to. Plus, some lesser known local artists that only have their music on YouTube as video uploads will still show up on YouTube Music. I haven’t really tried any other serious streaming platforms, and only YT Music and Spotify natively sync to my car with maps.
I’m diggin’ the style of this manga. Have a source?
Them: “You play a girl character? That’s pretty gay.”
Me: “I’m not the one staring at man-ass for several hours each day.”
I’m pretty sure that has been able to be emulated and run through most emulation software now. These Star Wars games had specific code and drivers that, when I looked up why it wouldn’t emulate years ago, had not been cracked open to get the source code to enable people to program it into emulation software.
The keyboard controls are very janky. You’d have to do custom button mapping with a controller, and there’s no analog input. At least not without some mods that I’m not sure exist.
IIRC, the original cartridge had an extra chip in it that emulation hasn’t been able to use. I’m not sure if any progress has been made on this and a few other games that used these.
And here I was thinking I was the only one that is bothered by the bisecting angles. Except I can’t step on the outlines unless it lands between my heel and toes where my feet wouldn’t touch them.
Holy crap, that’s dedication. Were you using savestates at all?
My late uncle let me play his copy when I was a kid, and when he told me I caught some pokemon he didn’t have. I got really proud of myself. I remember always trying to get the Master Ball, but it was too hard on the Red table, so I’d always play blue.
Definitely, assuming you like the fantasy action RPG style games. Some enemies are too tough to even damage until you level up and get better equipment, so keep that in mind if you find some sections too difficult. Magic actually feels POWERFUL, more so than other games like Skyrim and Elden Ring. Even with the sequel coming out soon, I couldn’t recommend the first one more; its in my most favorite games of all time.
I have so many Steam Sale games in my library that I haven’t played yet that I don’t know if I could justify buying more. My backlog is just too long. By the time I get around to playing any purchases for this dale, 2 more Steam Sales could have already passed.
Dragon’s Dogma is a great game that was ahead of its time when it came out. I can’t help but wonder how much of a hit it could have been if Capcom marketed it better (or at all).
I feel like a large number of the people pirating wouldn’t have bought the game even if it was their only option. Then there’s people who pirated and bought the game both. Unrealized profit is not the same as losing money.
Alternative title: “FCC set to make record revenue this election season!”
That’s not really what I was going for. Whoops. I probably should have worded it differently. The streaming-only crowd shouldn’t really be affected that much is the point I meant to make.
I think the point they were trying to get across, at least in the notice they sent me, is people are losing this because crunchyroll has no implementation for these digital copies. It wasn’t clear if they were going to add this feature to crunchyroll, but I bet they are waiting to see how much of a shitstorm it causes before determining if it’s worth the revenue loss of the people leaving.
You can transfer your watchlist and show progress to Crunchyroll, but the only thing that doesn’t transfer is digital purchases. I don’t think many people actually have purchased content, so most people aren’t losing anything.
Edit: dang man people hate this comment lol, I wasn’t trying to say it wasn’t a bad move. The less-than-most people who did purchase digital copies are getting screwed.
Edit 2: I didn’t really consider the digital copies that come with dvd and blu-ray purchases. The notice they sent me sounded like they didn’t have any of this implemented in crunchyroll. It smells like they are testing how much money they can save against how much revenue is lost from people leaving because of this before making any promises.
Animals aren’t harvested for their money.
There are some things we don’t have to imagine, because everybody has experienced licking it. One such example is OP’s mom.
