Yep, it was my personal, password-protected network. Either someone reconnected it (unlikely, I live with my gf who doesn’t use the TV) or it just cached the password until it decided to spy on my again 🙃

I have definitely had to forget networks, then have them connect to that network weeks later at random, then having to forget the network again. Don’t know how that’s legal.
I mean… it’s probably good to talk about these things before getting married, since it will inevitably lead to unresolved feelings later on. I wouldn’t mind if, for instance, my partner was a slut while I was a sexless virgin before we got together, but I would at least want to know that about them. In my mind you’re supposed to talk about your life experiences with your partner, and sex is falls under that umbrella. Idk, maybe I’m weird for thinking that.
Do not connect your Smart TVs to network people, seriously. Just a bad idea. Use a media center PC or some other device that allows you to stream content, and make sure the TV itself is just a big monitor, nothing more.
And when you point that out to the AI, those code snippets get replaced with even more spaghetti that is maybe 1% closer to actually working, at best. Been there!
Oof, Dead Money is either love it or hate it, good luck
“Pretending to run people over” is a crime lol. At least in the States. That’s textbook assault (making someone fear bodily harm), and arguably reckless driving or endangerment.
What is it about cars that make people into psychopaths? Or does it just bring out these things in already bad people?
Why would a diplomat have a direct line of communication with a powerful military force in the region? That seems like a pretty straightforward question with an obvious answer lol.
Polygamous lesbians moving in together. The joke is that lesbians move in quickly, it’s a common meme.
Undocumented migrants still pay taxes that are built into systems we interact with, like sales, rent, mortgage, etc. They also frequently have payroll taxes taken out, and even file taxes using an ITIN instead of SSN. They also can’t capitalize on govt. programs like section 8 or social security, so they are only able to contribute to these funding pools. Undocumented migrants generate billions per year in taxes for the US.
As long as you have fun with what you play
Shit, never mind. I play Dead by Daylight.
I remember being pissed when I got shitty cards from a YuGiOh booster pack when I was a kid, never bought new packs again. Only got stuff if I knew its value first. The fact that kids these days are actually falling prey to these systems shows how much more advanced and predatory they are.
Seeing games I don’t play get affected by kernel anti-cheat just gives me this big self-serving biased perception that my taste in games is good.
If you relate to this then you’re old
The fact that 22 of those 75 were just this year reinforces my suspicion that drivers have been getting enormously worse recently.
Showdown is the most tilting game on earth to me. Worse than League, even.
I’m 25 and I say rizz all the time
Steam has an effective monopoly on open, marketplace-style launchers. EGS is their only real competitor and everyone hates it. GOG is years behind the curve and Amazon’s launcher barely exists. At this point in time, Steam is hardly considered third-party since it’s so ubiquitous.
Smart TVs are designed to surveil you, a media center PC can be used however you want. Flash Linux and run Jellyfin and torrent everything through a VPN, then nothing can track you.
