  • Fascism is capitalism in decay. Modern conservatism is still an offshoot of liberalism (as compared to old conservatives who were attempting to conserve monarchy). Liberalism is a capitalist ideology defined by promotion of individual rights, civil liberties, and most importantly free enterprise and markets. Fascism is capitalism in decay because those in power will use that power to maintain their rule, through whatever means necessary. For Trump, that was Jan 6th, which is a new low for US politics, but he’s not alone in manipulating the levers of power, and neither side seems keen on removing powers from themselves when they get in power.

  • My friend, more groups were killed than just Jewish peoples in the Holocaust. Are you advocating for a state for Roma people also? Where should we get that state to give to them? There is and has been no such thing as “open” land for centuries, since the completion of the partitioning of the world between imperialist states in the previous centuries. So, by advocating for state creation, you are inherently advocating for dispossession and expulsion of those who live in that area.

What about the indigenous Americans whom have suffered the worst known genocide in human history, should we pick a place in Europe and give them a country there by kicking out the historic residents of that region? Why is granting a people statehood your only perceived method of preventing violence?

How and where can you set up this mythical state without inherently requiring the kinds of oppressions and violence we see in Israel?

If the media didn’t want him to win, they shouldn’t have called the race before even 10% of the state got a chance to vote. There’s going to be hundreds, possibly thousands of people who left caucuses early when they heard the race was called. The media is not only complicit in his win there, they have also exposed themselves to retaliation from campaigns and voters alike.

  • I really do hope we have some women in the leadership of any revolutionary organizations that appear. All the best revolutionary books are by women, all the best feminist works are by women, all the best intersectional works are by women, the best analysis of settler-colonialism I’ve read is by women, hell, even the best liberatory science fiction I’ve read is by a woman. It’s time for men to step aside and elevate women. If you’re in a leadership position of an organization and you’re a man, your primary goal should be to find and elevate women to replace you.

  • I have multiple. I work out for an hour a day, learn Chinese for an hour a day, do martial arts for 3 hours a week, read around 100 books a year, play every new video game that I want to, hike about twice a month, woodwork, 3d print and design my own 3d models to print, solder professionally as a side job, and all this while working a full time job in robotics and helping to take care of my young family members. Maybe you just have poor time management skills.

  • Capitalism has been dominant for over 4 centuries, and has murdered hundreds of millions of people in that time to maintain its dominance. It’s not only resistant to change, it actively kills those who try to change it for the better.

The healthcare system despite its centuries of reforms still serves the needs of the wealthy over the needs of the many. Even in countries with socialized healthcare but capitalist economics, elites are able to use their wealth to purchase higher quality of care than the average persons. Not to mention that those systems are being strangled to death the world over by governments in service of wealth, including the biggest success stories, the UK, and Canada.

In my country, it was never even reformed, and millions of people still have absolutely no way to receive healthcare without bankrupting themselves.

The concessions won are slowly taken away, bit by bit. We installed the 40 hour week and minimum wage as a de facto living wage and maximum working time. How many people work 60 hours today and still don’t have living wages? Because the concessions were just that, concessions, and as such, they can and are taken away as soon as it inconveniences the ruling class. Child labor laws are being stripped, because they’re inconvenient to those who seek to profit off of it. Socialized Healthcare systems are being dismantled, because they’re inconvenient for those who wish to profit off of it. Every area where we have won concessions has experienced a rollback when those concessions are maintained by a capitalist run state.

Its naive to think that you will be able to reform a system predicated on mass exploitation for most and orgiastic privilege for others to somehow be equitable while maintaining the private property systems at the root of all of the issues with it.
