Actual satire gives them the perfect cover and inoculation point for exposure, because then they can claim that it’s just a joke and it’s all done in good fun, and that you’re being too sensitive and have no sense of humor when they start “jokingly” comparing the bugs to whatever real life minority they legitimately want eradicated.
